충남문화관광재단은 오는 7월 12일부터 15일까지, 충남문화예술서울전시장 CN갤러리에서 《2023 충남청년아트페스타: 청충남많》을 개최한다.

청년예술인의 교류와 협력을 목표로 한 본 축제는 충청남도와 충남문화관광재단이 주관하는 생애최초창작지원과 신진예술창작지원 사업의 일환으로, 올해로 4회를 맞이하였다.

특히 올해 페스타는 서울 소격동에 새롭게 문을 연 충남문화예술전시장 CN갤러리에서 개최되어, 충남 청년예술의 활동 반경을 서울까지 확장시키는 중요한 발판이 되었다.

총기획을 맡은 계명국 감독은 자라섬국제재즈페스티벌을 20년간 이끌며 예술축제 분야의 전문가로 자리매김해왔으며, 이번 페스타에서도 청년예술인들이 전시와 공연의 단순 참여를 넘어, 기획·구성·홍보·운영 등 축제의 전 과정을 주체적으로 이끌 수 있도록 구조화하였다.

이번 페스타는 ‘청춘과 낭만의 합작 <청충남많>’이라는 부제로 개최되며, 문학, 회화, 미디어, 공예, 조소, 음악, 무용, 국악 등 다양한 장르의 청년예술가들이 함께 참여해 예술 간의 새로운 병치와 융합을 시도한다.

전시는 12일부터 15일까지 진행되며, 공연은 14일과 15일 양일간 오후에 집중 편성되었다.

The Chungnam Culture and Tourism Foundation will host the 2023 Chungnam Youth Art Festa: Cheong-Chungnam-Man from July 12 to 15 at the CN Gallery, located in the Chungnam Arts Exhibition Hall in Sogyeok-dong, Seoul.

Now in its fourth edition, this annual festival is part of the First-Time Creation Support and Emerging Artist Creation Support programs initiated by Chungcheongnam-do and the Foundation. It aims to foster collaboration and exchange among young artists in the region.

This year’s event gains particular attention for being held at the newly opened CN Gallery in Seoul, further expanding the reach of young artists from Chungnam to the capital’s vibrant cultural scene.

Directed by Gye Myung-guk, known for his 20-year leadership of the Jarasum International Jazz Festival, the 2023 Youth Art Festa emphasizes artist-led participation. Young creators take the lead in not only exhibiting and performing but also planning, programming, promoting, and managing the festival.

Under the subtitle “A Collaboration of Youth and Romance: Cheong-Chungnam-Man,” the event brings together artists from various fields—literature, painting, media, crafts, sculpture, music, dance, and traditional Korean music—to explore new intersections of materials and artistic expression.
