<모니터에서 산책하기>는 디지털 화면을 하나의 장소로 상상하며, 그 안에서 형상들이 움직이고 변화하는 과정을 산책의 개념과 연결해 풀어낸다. 산책은 목적지 없이 걷는 자유로운 행위이며, 생각과 감각이 환기되는 경험이다.

이 프로젝트에 참여한 작가들은 디지털 화면이라는 대체된 장소에서, 움직이는 이미지들을 통해 가상의 산책을 제안한다. 관객은 마치 모니터 속을 천천히 거닐 듯 이미지의 흐름을 따라가며, 시각적인 경험을 통해 자신의 감각과 상태를 새롭게 인식해볼 수 있다.

산책이 몸을 움직이는 과정이라면, 이 전시에서의 산책은 눈으로 따라가는 운동이다. 형상들은 움직이며, 반복되며, 화면 위에 새로운 감각을 만들어낸다.

<모니터에서 산책하기>는 디지털 회화가 형상을 다루는 새로운 방식과 감각을 실험하는 장이 된다. 실내와 외부, 실제와 가상의 경계를 넘나들며 관객과 이미지 사이에 열려 있는 또 하나의 산책로를 제시한다.

<Walking on the Monitor> reimagines the digital screen as a place—one where moving and shifting forms unfold like a visual stroll. A walk, by nature, has no fixed destination. It's a process of movement, often unlocking thoughts or feelings through simple, unhurried motion.

The participating artists offer a virtual kind of walking—one that happens not through footsteps but through images in motion. The digital monitor becomes a substitute canvas where viewers are invited to follow the flow of visual elements as if they were strolling through a scene.

If walking in the physical world involves bodily movement, this version is a walk for the eyes. The shapes move, repeat, and ripple across the screen, forming moments of sensory play.

<Walking on the Monitor> becomes a space for experimenting with a new kind of pictorial language—one rooted in digital painting, where material and motion blend to expand the surface of visual experience.

By traversing the boundaries between inside and outside, real and virtual, the exhibition opens a new path of wandering—between the viewer and the image.
