<공장!공장!공장!>은 세 명의 작가가 각자의 ‘공장’에서 만들어낸 독특한 형상들을 책상 위에 놓인 물건처럼 모니터 위에 배열하며 회화를 구성하는 전시이다. 이들은 단순히 터치와 드로잉을 반복하는 것에 그치지 않고, 형상들의 중첩과 반복을 통해 '차이'를 생성하고자 한다.

‘공장에서 물건을 만든다’는 단순하고도 순수한 발상은 이번 전시의 출발점이다. 반복을 통해 새로운 형상을 만들어내는 이들의 시도는 전시 제목인 <공장!공장!공장!>에 고스란히 담겨 있다. 특히 ‘!’(팩토리얼 기호)의 사용은 반복을 통한 예기치 못한 결과를 은유하며, 작가들이 바라는 이미지 생산의 환상을 상징적으로 드러낸다.

<Factory! Factory! Factory!> is a group exhibition where three artists present unique forms created in their own “factories” — displayed on monitors like objects arranged on a desk. Their practice goes beyond the simple repetition of touch and drawing; it explores the generation of difference through the layering and repetition of forms.

The concept of “making things in a factory” is a simple yet compelling starting point for this show. The artists’ shared aspiration to produce new forms through repetition is encapsulated in the title <Factory! Factory! Factory!>, where the exclamation marks, inspired by the mathematical symbol ‘!’ (factorial), hint at unexpected outcomes that can emerge through iterative processes.

Rather than focusing on representation, this exhibition investigates the sensory and conceptual potential of painting. By creating and animating diverse shapes and moving images, the artists offer an alternative approach to painting — one that highlights the unique possibilities of digital media and motion. Just as we are drawn to peculiar gestures or unfamiliar movements in everyday life, the artists aim to generate fresh visual experiences through movement itself.
