궁금정원은 작가가 '시간-회화' 작업을 처음으로 선보인 장소이다. 공주시의 한 카페이자 전시 공간인 궁금정원은 감각적인 디자인으로 기억에 남는 곳이며, 전시 초기, 대표님의 너그러운 수락 덕분에 모니터에서 산책하기 전시를 무사히 진행할 수 있었다.

이 작품은 그 감사의 마음에서 출발한 동시에, 실제 공간에 풍성하게 자리 잡고 있던 나무와 꽃들을 새롭게 만들어보고 싶은 꿈이 담긴 작업이다. 작가가 연구해온 디지털 나무들을 활용해 장소를 새롭게 만들어보고자 한 시도이기도 하다. 그러한 바램과 감각을 표현하고자 한 작업이다.

The Goong-Geum Garden

The Goonggeum Garden is the first place where the artist introduced a 'Time-Painting' work. Located in Gongju, this café and exhibition space is remembered for its refined and sensory design. In the early stage of the exhibition, thanks to the generous approval of the café’s CEO, the Walking on the Monitor exhibition was successfully held.

This work began with a sense of gratitude, and at the same time, it reflects the artist’s dream of reimagining the space by recreating the abundant trees and flowers that originally filled it. It is also an attempt to reconstruct the space using digital trees that have been central to the artist’s research. The piece expresses such desire and sensory impression.
