뮤지엄호두의 2025년 두 번째 기획 전시 <세상의 모든 드로잉 in 천안>은 시각예술 전시공간 아터테인과의 협력 기획전이다. 총 156명의 작가가 참여한 이번 전시는 ;드로잉'이라는 매체의 확작성을 살피는 전시로, 예술가가 스스로 주체가 되어 창작과 시장의 새로운 가능성을 탐색하는 장을 마련하는 데 중점을 두고 있다.

특히 지역 작가들과 소통을 도모하고 현대미술의 저변을 확대하고자, 뮤지엄호두에서는 지난 3월에 공모를 진행했다. 해당 공모를 통해 충청권을 중심으로 거주 또는 활동 중인 청년 작가 40여 명이 출품하여, 창작의 자유로움과 실험 정신을 강조하는 현대 미술의 새로운 흐름을 조망한다.

평면 회화 뿐 아니라, 영상, 입체 등 다양한 작품이 전시되는 이번 전시에서는 '드로잉'을 단순한 기법이 아닌 '인간의 손으로 만들어지고 그려지는 모든 창작 행위'로 정의하며, 시각적 창작 영역의 경계를 허물고자 하는 의지를 담고 있다.

이제 예술가들이 다양한 매체와 기법을 시도할 수 있도록 독려하며, 창작 행위에 대한 새로운 사고의 전환점을 제공한다. 이를 통해 장르 간, 세대 간 소통의 플랫폼을 구축하고 창작의 자유로움과 실험 정신을 강조하는 현대미술의 새로운 흐름을 조망하고자 한다.

선 긋기를 통해 형태를 표현하고 묘사하는 드로잉의 본질을 유지하면서도 각자의 개성을 가미한 작품들을 통해, 관람객은 그림이 제공하는 시각적 즐거움과 그 안에 내포된 의미를 실감할 수 있을 것이다.

The museum walnut's second planned exhibition in 2025 "All Drawing in Cheonan" is a collaborative exhibition with the visual art exhibition space Artain. This exhibition, which involves a total of 156 artists, is an exhibition that examines the confirmation of the medium called 'Drawing', and focuses on setting the stage for artists to become the subject of their own creation and explore new possibilities in the market.

In particular, in order to promote communication with local artists and expand the base of contemporary art, the Museum Hodu held a contest in March. Through the contest, more than 40 young artists living or working in Chungcheong Province will submit their entries, looking at a new trend of contemporary art that emphasizes the freedom of creation and the spirit of experimentation.

The exhibition, which displays various works such as images and solids as well as flat paintings, defines "drawing" as "all creative acts made and drawn by human hands" rather than a simple technique, and contains a will to break down the boundaries of visual creation.

It now encourages artists to try various media and techniques, providing a turning point in new thinking about creative activities. Through this, we intend to establish a platform for communication between genres and generations and look at a new trend of contemporary art that emphasizes freedom of creation and the spirit of experimentation.

Through works that maintain the essence of drawing that expresses and depicts form through line drawing, visitors will be able to realize the visual pleasure provided by the painting and the meaning it contains.
